01Overview & Acceptance
GameSave is a desktop application that organizes your game library across platforms and adds a gamified layer of progress, achievements, leaderboards, and rewards on top of it.
These Terms of Service form a binding agreement between you and GameSave. You accept them when you install GameSave and click "I accept" during setup, and by continuing to use the Services. The complete, controlling legal text - including arbitration, liability, privacy, and other provisions - is presented to you in full at install time and is summarized here for reference.
GameSave Pro is optional. The core application - your games library, the Career area, and Pulse - remains usable without a paid subscription. Pro is a way to level up your experience, never a gate on the front door.
02Credits (CR) & Virtual Items
GameSave Credits ("CR") and virtual items are licensed, not sold. They have no monetary value, do not constitute currency, property, or a financial instrument, and cannot be redeemed for cash except where required by applicable law. You do not own CR or virtual items regardless of terminology such as "balance", "wallet", "purchase", or "earn".
CR and virtual items are non-transferable between accounts and may not be sold, gifted, traded, or exchanged for value outside the Services. We may grant, adjust, or reverse CR and virtual items to correct errors, address fraud or exploits, or comply with law.
03GameSave Pro
GameSave Pro (also called "Pro") is an optional paid upgrade. It unlocks additional features, raises certain limits, adds status and cosmetic benefits, and includes a recurring in-application CR allowance, as described in the Services at the time of purchase. Pro is not required to use GameSave.
04Plans, Billing & Auto-Renewal
GameSave Pro is billed and processed through our third-party payment processor, Stripe. The available plans are:

The monthly, quarterly, and annual plans are recurring subscriptions that automatically renew at the then-current price for the same interval until you cancel, and you authorize us and Stripe to charge your payment method for each renewal term. Prices are exclusive of taxes and may change prospectively; the price in effect at the time of each renewal applies.
05Cancellation & Refunds
You may cancel a recurring Pro subscription at any time through the Stripe customer billing portal accessible from the Services. When you cancel, your Pro access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, and it then does not renew.
Except where required by applicable law or expressly stated by us at the time of purchase, all GameSave Pro fees - including recurring subscription fees and the one-time Lifetime fee - are final and non-refundable, and we do not provide prorated or partial-period refunds. Where applicable law grants you a right of withdrawal or refund, that right applies notwithstanding this Section.
06No Loss of Data on Lapse
If your Pro subscription lapses, is cancelled, or expires, the effect is limited to access: features that Pro unlocked may become locked again. Your data is preserved. Your library, backlog, completions, journal entries, speedruns, settings, and other stored data are not deleted as a result of a Pro lapse, and they become available again if you resubscribe or otherwise regain access. Any feature you have permanently unlocked with CR remains unlocked forever.
07Lifetime / Founder Term
GameSave Pro Lifetime ("Founder") access is guaranteed for a minimum of five (5) years from the date of purchase. GameSave's maximum guaranteed obligation in respect of a Lifetime purchase shall not exceed five (5) years. Following that period, GameSave will continue to provide Lifetime access for as long as the GameSave service remains in operation, at GameSave's sole discretion, but is under no further guaranteed obligation to do so. "Lifetime" refers to the operational lifetime of the GameSave service and does not constitute a perpetual or unlimited guarantee.
The Lifetime / Founder plan is a limited-time launch offer available for purchase only during the limited window we designate. After that window closes, the Lifetime plan may no longer be available for new purchases. Users who purchased Lifetime access while the offer was available retain their access regardless of the offer closing.
08Leaderboards & Fair Play
GameSave includes competitive leaderboards and rankings. Real money never buys leaderboard position: CR provided through Pro, CR purchased for real money, and similar non-earned CR do not count toward competitive CR standings. We may recalculate, reset, or adjust rankings and may disqualify any account that engages in cheating, exploitation, or manipulation.
